Quota is an approval granted by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
A quota is prepared for an expatriate coming into the country to take an employment for either short or long term.

STR Visa: It is a pre-requisite visa for a resident permit .
TWP (Temporary work permit): It is given to expatriate coming to take temporary employment. It is approved for a period not exceeding 60 days or 2 months.
Tourist Visa: It is issued to foreigners on casual or tourist visit.
Business Visa: This is issued to foreigners coming in for business consultative meetings like board meetings, job interviews and negotiations etc.
Diplomatic Visa: Issued only to diplomats
Transit Visa: Issued to foreigners across Nigeria.
